-You still have time to register and join us for our summer conference in Gainesville, Fri. July 18 and Sat. July 19, but TIME IS SHORT! Our hosts,the Stonewall Democrats of Alachua County have put together a greatconference and it something you don't want to miss. Friday night, July 18there will be a social at the Wild Iris Books and Cafe. The Saturdayconference will be at the UF Hilton Conference Center and will featureRepresentatives from the Human Rights Campaign, Equality Florida, and theFlorida ACLU LGBT Advocacy Project will speak at the Saturday meeting. Inaddition to the usual roster of local and statewide candidates andofficeholders, we are planning to include conversation panels on topics suchas gender identity ordinances and intersections among Democratic groups. Saturday night there will be a reception at the Pride Community Center ofNorth Central Florida and is being organized by the Human Rights Council ofNorth Central Florida.
