AWARD-WINNING NOVELIST KARIN KALLMAKER TO APPEAR AT
STONEWALL LIBRARY & ARCHIVES ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19
On March 19, at 7:00 pm, as part of its Distinguished Authors LectureSeries, Stonewall will host a reading and book signing by the enormouslypopular award-winning novelist Karin Kallmaker. Ms. Kallmaker's lesbianfiction novels include the Goldie and Lammy award-winning 18th & Castro,Just Like That, Maybe Next Time and Sugar and span lesbian romance, lesbianerotica and lesbian science-fiction/fantasy.
Regarding her appearance at Stonewall, Ms. Kallmaker has written "I'mplanning to include in my comments my sincere belief that genre fiction,especially romance, is the literary representation of our every dayemotional and sexual lives, and the validation of our human hopes and dreamsas lived out as queer (using the big umbrella word) people."
